How do I get paid?: Avon works like any other retail business - you (the representative) purchase the products from Avon at a low price (wholesale), and then sell them to your customers at the higher catalog price (retail) - the difference is your profit!

How do I get my profit when customers pay for their order with a credit card?: When customers pay for their order with a credit card, all the money goes into your account at Avon, where it is applied toward your Avon bill. Since you generally have more people paying with checks and cash than with credit cards, this all works out - Avon applies the full amount on the credit cards toward your account, so you have to send in less money to Avon when paying your bill.

Can I be successful in Avon if I don't recruit?: While it is possible to have a successful career in Avon without recruiting, it is more difficult. With no unit underneath you, all the money you make will be totally dependant on your own sales. Some people have been very successful in this area, but it takes a lot of effort and time!
